Travelling to the airport for an international flight can be tiring. However, the truly stressful part is frequently checking your passport before arrival. Without a passport, your trip is over before it even begins.
Android users in the US might not have to be concerned about it in future as Google Waller looks like it to be receiving digital passport support.
According to Assemble Debug, currently, the feature is ready to be launched, all it requires is to be included in the stable public version of Google Wallet.
The users can scan their smartphone to an (Near Field Communication) NFC reader, or have anyone scan a QR code on the digital ID pass. However, it’s not yet clear how globally this feature will imply, and it’s doubtful that all airports will have the required tools to utilise digital passports.

Primarily, the Google Wallet code said that the digital e-passport “isn’t an official ID and doesn’t replace your physical passport”.
However, the users might love the convenience of storing a passport in their phone, while the users still required to carry their actual passport. However, the tech might fail or batteries may die, which would abandon users beached, or users might find themselves in a situation that doesn’t accept digital passports.
The users must consider the feature as a backup or last resort, kind of like carrying a photocopy of a passport with users on their trips as it’s not an alternative for the original passport, while if you lose your documents, the photocopied documents might help in verifying your identity.
Moreover, Apple Wallet’s digital ID feature might be able to verify users' age and identity in certain limited apps.
The feature is set to be offered to US passport holders currently. However, it’s expected that the users can travel to the airport without frequently checking their pockets to make sure their passports are still there or not.
