FragPunk is a new 5v5 first-person tactical shooter with quick gameplay and a new feature known as Shard Cards. Created by Bad Guitar Studio, the feature provides players with real-time game rule changes, meaning each match played will be distinct.
The title has received widespread interest since the announcement, particularly following a closed beta in October 2024.
FragPunk release time and platforms
FragPunk is officially launching on March 6, 2025, at 4pm Pacific Time (PT). It will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

- New York (EST): March 6, 2025, 7:00am
- London (GMT): March 7, 2025, 12:00am

Players who log in during the launch period will receive exclusive in-game rewards such as weapon skins, in-game currency, and cosmetic items. These bonuses are available for a limited time, so players should join early to claim them.
What to expect from FragPunk?
The worldwide release of FragPunk offers plenty of new material for gamers. The game includes 150+ Shard Cards, 50 of which are new additions such as Dimensional Travel, Black Hole Traps, and Feinting Flash. It also features new modes of play like Shard Clash, Outbreak, and TDM played on seven maps.
FragPunk provides 16 weapons and 13 Lancers to engage in tough combat. FragPunk supports crossplay, enabling players to join forces on different platforms.
