Samsung's latest Android 16-based One UI 8 update has started rolling out to various Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

Which Galaxy devices are receiving new One UI 8 update?
In the premium segment of Galaxy devices, the Galaxy S25 series, comprising the S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 Edge, has received the One UI 8 upgrade.
Similarly, the Galaxy S24 lineup is also among the handsets getting the new One UI update. All four variants—the S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, and S24 FE—of the series are included.
On the foldable front, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are also compatible with the One UI 8 update, while mid-range phones such as the Galaxy A56, A36, and A35 are also making the cut.
The tech giant has introduced several exciting features in One UI 8, with the primary focus being the enhancement of Samsung's focus on artificial intelligence (AI) to improve AI tools for productivity, photography, and personalisation.
Users now get to experience a cleaner design across system apps, not to mention better multitasking capabilities for smoother transitions between split-screen and pop-up views.
On top of that, Samsung has also improved battery optimisation settings in a bid to revamp performance for both high-end and mid-range devices.
The rollout of One UI 8 on both flagship and selected mid-range devices underscores Samsung’s commitment to ensuring considerable software support across its product range.
