Samsung has unveiled two exciting additions to its foldable lineup — the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE — at its Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event in Brooklyn, New York.

Both models bring Galaxy AI, new software tricks with One UI 8, and bundled perks like free Google AI Pro access and Samsung Care+.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 FE features

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 gets a much-needed makeover, with a larger 4.1-inch cover screen that wraps around the cameras for better use. It's slimmer than the prior generation as well, measuring in at just 6.5mm when unfolded, about the thickness of a pencil.

Inside the Z Flip 7 is a larger 6.9-inch display, all powered by a new Exynos 2500, 12 GB of RAM, and up to 512 GB of storage. A 4,300mAh battery keeps it all moving, with cameras featuring a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP selfie camera. It also includes IP48 water resistance and dust resistance and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

This year's new piece was the addition of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, a budget-friendly foldable for casual users. The FE uses the same shell as the Flip 6 but swaps out the Flip 7's Exynos 2500 for 2400 and also has a smaller 4,000mAh battery. The Z Flip 7 FE comes in 8GB + 128GB or 8GB + 256GB storage variants.
