Google is working on a helpful new feature for its AI chatbot, Gemini, which could soon improve how users write prompts. Gemini is an AI assistant, similar to ChatGPT, that helps people answer questions, plan tasks, and create content.

However, it might soon get a ‘Power up’ button to make prompt-writing even easier on Android devices.

Gemini’s ‘Power up’ button

The Power up feature will allow users to easily enhance their prompts with one click. This means that it translates to is that when you begin typing something out in Gemini, you can simply click the Power up button to receive a better, more informative version of your prompt.

This feature would be an excellent asset for individuals who would like to have the chatbot respond to them with smarter answers without having to spend so much time deciding how to pose their questions.

Along with this, Google is also planning changes to Gemini’s interface. It may move tools like Deep Research and Canvas to the home screen, making them easier to find. These tools are useful for users who want to do in-depth research or work on creative projects.

The revised interface would also introduce new shortcuts such as Create Image and Create Video, though these are yet to work within the current iteration.

In addition, the Power up button is not available for all users, but it has been manually tested and feels nearly ready for release. Google hasn't provided a release date for when the update will roll out, but since this looks like what we see on Gemini's web version, it should roll out anytime soon.
