You might have been through the frustrating moment when you're Googling something but struggling to find the right words, but it appears that Google is well considerate of that, introducing a visual search feature to Google Search’s AI Mode.

With AI Mode's new visual search capability, users can simply show or describe whatever is on their mind and receive various visual results.

"Starting today," Google wrote in a post shared on X (called Twitter before Elon Musk's takeover), adding: "Now you can ask a question conversationally and get a range of visual results, with the ability to continuously refine your search in more natural ways."

Users can refine searches naturally, like asking for options with darker tones or bold patterns. Each image links users to more information, making it easy to explore.

Having said that, with Google AI Mode's visual searching, just describe what you need instead of sorting through endless filters. For instance, write “barrel jeans that aren’t too baggy,” and AI Mode will fetch relevant options. If you love a particular item, you can click to purchase it directly.

This innovative visual search is powered by Google’s advanced understanding of images and context. It can analyse pictures deeply, recognising details and providing highly relevant results.

No matter if you’re decorating your home or searching for an ideal cushion, AI Mode is here to help, rolling out in English across the US this week.
