Google Keep is introducing multi-account support for Android tablets and foldables, enabling users to open two instances of the app simultaneously when it's running in two instances.

Last year, the service launched a split-screen feature for large-screen devices, allowing users to open two instances of the app side by side.

This year, Google has further enhanced the experience by adding multi-account support to its newly launched multi-instance feature.

Users will now be able to interact with multiple accounts on a single screen, with one account displayed on the left and another on the right.

Activating Multi-Account Support

To enable this feature:

  1. Select a note from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the overflow menu.
  3. Select “Open in new window.”
  4. Tap the back arrow in the top-left corner to return to the main screen.
  5. Switch accounts.

This side-by-side configuration enhances versatility by allowing display and content organization across multiple accounts.

The upgrade is available to all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual Subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts. It's live today with version 5.24.242.03.90.
