Google Pixel 8 series teases minty fresh colour ahead of launch on January 25

The Google Pixel 8 series is introducing a new colour option this week, nearly four months after the initial launch of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The Pixel 8 is currently available in Hazel, Obsidian, and Rose colours, while the Pixel 8 Pro comes in Bay, Obsidian, and Porcelain colours.

Both phones feature Google's Tensor G3 processor, up to 256GB of storage, Android 14, and 120Hz refresh rate displays. The Pixel 8 has a 4,575mAh battery, and the Pixel 8 Pro comes with a 5,050mAh battery.

Google's social media teasers hint at a Minty Fresh colour for the Pixel 8 series, set to be unveiled on January 25.

The teaser suggests a light green shade, and the binary code translates to "fresh year, fresh drop." The pricing is expected to be similar to other variants, and the new colour might be exclusive to the Google Store.

In terms of pricing in India, the Pixel 8 starts at INR 75,999, while the Pixel 8 Pro starts from INR 1,06,999.

For specifications, both Pixel 8 models run on Android 14 and feature Google's Tensor G3 chipset. The Pixel 8 has a 6.2-inch full-HD+ OLED display, and the Pixel 8 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch Quad-HD OLED display, both with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Pixel 8 has 8GB of RAM, a dual rear camera setup, and a 4,575mAh battery. The Pixel 8 Pro has 12GB of RAM, a triple rear camera setup, and a 5,050mAh battery.
