The Google Pixel 9a is likely to be released sooner than anticipated, with preorders rumoured to start on March 19 and retail availability beginning on March 26.

This mid-range device has been under speculation for a few months, and a recent leak has emerged, indicating its imminent launch along with a comprehensive suite of significant features discussed below.

Google Pixel 9a specs (expected)

The upcoming Google Pixel 9a is likely to feature an enlarged 6.3-inch display with 2,700 nits of peak brightness, an improved camera, and more, making it a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone segment.

A credible analyst, Evan Blass, displayed a render of the Pixel 9a, though the post was later removed. The image indicated that the forthcoming variant would closely resemble the flagship Pixel 9 lineup in numerous aspects.

The power and volume buttons are positioned on the right-hand side, with antenna lines visible upon closer inspection. The leak also suggested a major change, as Alphabet-owned Google may remove the rear camera bar, a signature design element found in every Pixel model, including the latest Pixel 9 lineup.

However, all details regarding the forthcoming Pixel 9a remain speculative, as they have yet to be confirmed by the company ahead of its launch.
