Apple has reportedly taken a step ahead in innovation with the upcoming iPhone 17 model, which is expected to have a larger display screen and overall enhanced performance.
Taking to the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, a tipster has claimed that the iPhone 17's base model will feature a 6.3-inch screen, which was previously available on the iPhone 16 Pro model only.
This development represents a significant improvement, as the standard iPhone model has long lagged behind its Pro counterparts in terms of display quality.

iPhone 17 is anticipated to have a 120Hz LTPO OLED screen, which will improve the user experience.
Moreover, the upcoming series will have enhanced display capabilities through the integration of Samsung's recently unveiled M14 OLED panels, distinguished by their vivid colours.
Notably, all four of the iPhone 17 lineup are expected to come with these advanced OLED screens.
Additionally, the iPhone 17 Pro models will be released with "always-on display" feature; however, the standard iPhone 17 models will still be shipped with a striking display.
