An insider from PlayStation has confirmed that GTA 6 will incorporate several features from Red Dead Redemption 2, sparking excitement among fans.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest open-world games of all time, Red Dead Redemption 2 set a high standard with its meticulous attention to detail, leaving subsequent titles in its wake. However, anticipation for GTA 6 is building, with leaks and rumours suggesting it may surpass its predecessor.
According to the insider, GTA 6 will adopt features such as the Eagle Eye, a tool for identifying objects and individuals within the game world, originally used for tracking animals in Red Dead Redemption 2. While it remains uncertain if hunting will play a significant role in the game, rumours suggest the inclusion of a fishing minigame where the Eagle Eye could prove useful, perhaps even against formidable foes like crocodiles or alligators.
Furthermore, Rockstar plans to reintroduce the NPC interaction system from Red Dead Redemption 2, enhancing the immersive nature of the game world. While GTA V allowed some interaction with NPCs, the sequel promises to offer more dynamic encounters with characters roaming the streets of Vice City, potentially including memorable encounters with eccentric individuals.
Despite these exciting developments, a release date for GTA 6 remains elusive, with only a vague window of 2025 provided by Rockstar. Nevertheless, with each new detail emerging, anticipation for the game continues to grow, leaving fans eagerly awaiting its arrival and eager to discover what other surprises await in this highly anticipated sequel.
