Meta-owned chat platform, WhatsApp is continually working to deliver the best possible experience for its customers by upgrading the app regularly.
One of its most famous characteristics is end-to-end encryption. WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption prevents personal conversations, images, videos, and other content from getting into the wrong hands.
Taking this one step further, WhatsApp released the 'Chat Lock' function last year, which allows individuals to secure their more sensitive discussions.
Moreover, the Meta-owned chat platform included the "Secret Code" function, which adds another layer of security and makes these discussions more difficult to locate.
In addition, by generating a secret code, the closed conversation will not appear in your chat list. You can only locate it by entering your secret code into the search field.
A secret code allows you to create a unique password for your encrypted conversations, providing an added degree of anonymity.

How do you enable chat to look on WhatsApp?
- Open WhatsApp on your phone.
- Swipe right or long-press the chat you wish to lock.
- This will bring up additional options; pick Lock Chat.
- It may be locked using either a face ID or a fingerprint.
- How can you set up WhatsApp's secret code?
- Navigate to your encrypted chat folder.
- Enter settings, press on secret code, and finally pick the secret code.
- After that, simply generate a code and hit next.
- Confirm your code and hit the done button.
