Honor released the new DeepSeek R1 Network Edition for its devices, which is quite different from the recently unveiled YOYO Assistant-based AI model. This feature allows users to access the new artificial intelligence (AI) agent in a simple way.
DeepSeek AI has become the main focus point for everyone in China. Tech manufacturers are now adding the latest AI technology into their products for an efficient experience.
After connecting the new AI model with the YOYO Assistant, Honor has now rolled out the DeepSeek R1 Network Edition.
The Network Edition is slightly different from the main AI model. It is not restricted to answering logical questions but can also connect the online search tool with its traits to search along with providing real-time network information.
Honor has officially revealed the eligible devices to support DeepSeek R1 Network Edition.

Currently, the company has opened the new DeepSeek R1 version for the top-end models and foldable, while it can be expected to soon expand the capability to more devices.
Notably, the YOYO Assistant app should be updated to the 80.0.1.503 build to access the new DeepSeek R1 Network Edition.
Users will eventually get clear, as well as detailed answers to their puzzling queries in no time. In addition, the DeepSeek R1 Network Version supports online search, letting users explore the Assistant more easily and get accurate answers in real time.
How to access DeepSeek R1 Network Edition
- Honor smartphone users can directly access the DeepSeek R1 Network with one click. You don’t have to install any application.
- Just swipe down the home screen and enter the Search Page.
- Type “DeepSeek” and tap the Honor Official DeepSeek.
- Moreover, users can use Honor Quick Service to access the DeepSeek feature.
- Open the app and click on DeepSeek in the AI Agent section.
- Tap on the R1 (online version) icon.
- One can create the DeepSeek shortcut on the home screen and access it later via one tap.
