In an effort to improve the efficiency of citizen services, the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has introduced an advanced web portal that allows citizens to cancel duplicate traffic challans without having to wait in a queue or visit a PSCA office.
How to cancel duplicate challans
The following are the steps to cancel the duplicate traffic challan from home.
- Go to the PSCA e-Challan portal.
- Enter your CNIC and vehicle registration number.
- Select "Review" to continue.
- Give a brief explanation of the problem, like, "I have received the same challan for the same date and time twice."
According to the PSCA, this procedure will "streamline complaints, reduce the burden on physical offices, and help ensure that invalid or duplicate challans are removed promptly."
The PSCA Public Safety app is available for both iOS and Android smartphones, and citizens can use it to manage e-Challans while on the go and for additional guidance.
In order to help citizens stay on top of their traffic challans, the app supports the e-Challan review and management feature.
In addition to relieving the strain on physical offices, the PSCA is guaranteeing that invalid or duplicate challans are promptly removed by offering a quick and easy method to cancel duplicate challans.
