How to exit any group chat on iPhone

Group chats can be a great way to stay in touch with your friends and family, but sometimes they can also be annoying or overwhelming. If you want to leave a group chat on your iPhone or Android phone, here are the steps you need to follow.

1. If you have an iPhone, you can leave a group chat in the Messages app by following these steps:
2. Open the group chat you want to leave.
3. Tap the group name at the top of the screen.
4. Scroll down and tap “Leave this Conversation”.
5. Confirm your choice by tapping “Leave this Conversation” again.

Note that you can only leave a group chat if it has at least three participants. If the group chat has only two participants, you can’t leave it, but you can mute it or delete it.

Leaving a group chat on an Android phone

If you have an Android phone, the steps to leave a group chat may vary depending on the messaging app you use. Here are some examples of how to leave a group chat on some popular apps:

1. WhatsApp: Open the group chat you want to leave. Tap the three dots icon at the top right corner. Tap “More” and then “Exit group”. Confirm your choice by tapping “EXIT”.
2. Telegram: Open the group chat you want to leave. Tap the group name at the top of the screen. Tap the three dots icon at the top right corner. Tap “Leave Group”. Confirm your choice by tapping “LEAVE”.
3. Signal: Open the group chat you want to leave. Tap the group name at the top of the screen. Tap the three dots icon at the top right corner. Tap “Leave Group”. Confirm your choice by tapping “LEAVE GROUP”.

Note that leaving a group chat may not delete the chat history from your phone. If you want to delete the chat history, you may need to do it manually from the app settings or by long-pressing the chat and tapping “Delete”.
