Hyundai Nishat Motors is expected to launch a facelifted 8th-generation model of the Sonata. The company launched the 8th generation Sonata in Pakistan on July 5, 2021, and right after approximately 3.5 years, the company is gearing up to bring the facelift model of the D-segment beauty on wheels.
However, the company has not provided details translating what the facelift Sonata reaching Pakistan will boast.

The midsize sedan houses a sportier design and advanced technological features, offering a smooth driving experience. This isn’t merely a facelift of the 2019 model. The new Sonata showcases low-slung, elegant proportions, aggressive styling, and cutting-edge technology.
The vehicle’s exterior boldly emphasises its sporty character. Sharp, linear elements and clean, supple surfaces create a striking visual impact.
Facelift’s design embodies Hyundai’s “Sensuous Sportiness” philosophy, sporting a horizontal front-end layout. Key elements include the signature seamless horizon lamp, hidden headlamps, a wide grille, and air intake, contributing to a dynamic and aggressive aesthetic.
On the other hand, the interior of the Sonata facelift classifies driver-centricity. It incorporates delicate, high-tech details that seamlessly include modern lifestyles. A significant highlight is the inclusion of a panoramic curved display, a first for any Hyundai model.
This innovative feature combines a 12.3-inch driver information cluster with a 12.3-inch audio video navigation (AVN) infotainment system. Furthermore, the touch-type climate control unit on the instrument panel further elevates the high-tech ambience.
The interior offers a diverse palette of colour combinations, expertly balancing sporty aesthetics with a premium character.
Notably, the Korean manufacturer unveiled the Sonata facelift in two variants: Standard and hybrid variants. The hybrid variant uses a 2.0-litre Smartstream GDi HEV engine, providing a maximum power output of 152 PS and a peak torque of 188 Nm.
Beyond the hybrid option, the Sonata is also available with a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine boasting direct fuel injection (T-GDI) and a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated unit.
