
Infinix Hot 40i is set to launch in India this week, as confirmed by the Chinese smartphone brand. Flipkart has started hinting at the arrival of new Infinix Hot series smartphones through a dedicated microsite on its platform.
Infinix Hot 40i specifications
The Infinix Hot 40i made its debut in select global markets back in December last year, alongside the Infinix Hot 40 and Infinix Hot 40 Pro. It is powered by the Unisoc T606 SoC and boasts a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel sensor. The smartphone comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging.
The India launch of the Infinix Hot 40i has been announced by the Transsion Holdings subsidiary via X (formerly named Twitter). Flipkart has set up a dedicated microsite teasing the arrival of the device, with the launch scheduled for February 16 at midnight IST.
The handset is confirmed to fall under the sub-INR 10,000 category and is teased to offer 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and 8GB of virtual memory.

The global version of the Infinix Hot 40i sports a 6.56-inch HD+ (720x1,612 pixels) LCD with a variable refresh rate of 60Hz to 90Hz and peak brightness of 480 nits. It is powered by the Unisoc T606 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.

The Infinix Hot 40i features an AI-powered dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies, there's a 32-megapixel front camera. The device also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Infinix Hot 40i was previously introduced in select global markets in December 2023 alongside the regular Infinix Hot 40 and Infinix Hot 40 Pro, the Infinix Hot 40i is priced at SAR 375 (approximately INR 8,300) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant in Saudi Arabia.
