Apple is working on the iPhone 17 series, which is expected to launch during the usual September release window.
Meanwhile, the leaked renders have suggested that the iPhone 17 Pro might undergo a significant design overhaul.
iPhone 17 Pro design changes
According to the renders published by Front Page Tech and render artist Asher Dipps, the iPhone 17 Pro's camera arrangement will remain in a right-pointing triangle shape.
However, the iPhone’s camera block will now span the entire width of the iPhone, with the flash, rear microphone, and LiDAR depth sensor relocated to the right edge.
Moreover, the camera block will no longer match the colour of the iPhone's body, instead will feature a complementary shade that will give the phone a dual-tone look.
It was also reported that the prototypes felt lighter, although it's unclear whether this was due to a switch to titanium material, like iPhone 16 Pro models, or aluminum, similar to non-pro iPhone models.
Earlier, some sources suggested that the iPhone 17 Air might also feature a horizontal camera block.
iPhone 17 series specifications
Apart from design changes, as per earlier leaks, the iPhone 17 series is tipped to a feature 24MP front-facing camera and 120Hz displays.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max will feature a much narrowed Dynamic Island on the device.
It should be noted that the iPhone 17 will be released five years after the iPhone 12, which was the last majorly redesigned iPhone.
