Apple Intelligence, the most-awaited flagship feature of Cupertino based tech giant, has been delayed till October which has raised user’s concerns over the launch date of the upcoming iPhone 16, which is expected to be launched in September.

Currently, only the iPhone 15 and the latest models support these AI features, and they are likely to be integrated into the iPhone 16 too.

Additionally, Apple follows its trend to debut the latest iPhone in September every year and users are anticipating whether Apple adhere to its monopoly of releasing the iPhone 16 in the upcoming month or not. Despite the delay of Apple Intelligence.

According to Bloomberg, the iPhone launch will occur around the same time as last year — a quick look at the calendar makes September 10 a probable date — and users will need to upgrade their new hardware to iOS 18.1 in October to get rolling with Apple Intelligence.

So users who are planning to get iPhone 16, right after its launch might have to wait for a few weeks or run the beta software to get the AI features. Moreover, it won't be the first Apple would do it, because in 2023, Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 were unveiled without the double-tap gesture, which was one of the most essential features of that device, which was later introduced in October via watchOS 10.1.
