Infinix unveiled its first entry-level smartphone of the year, Infinix Hot 50 5G, today in India. The company claims the handset is the “slimmest and most reliable smartphone” in its price segment. 

Infinix Hot 50 5G offers many innovative features including an “Interactive Dynamic Bar” which shows the music player, background call, and charging animation.

Infinix Hot 50 5G specifications

Display

The Infinix Hot 50 5G sports a slim design of 7.8mm. It features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. The device’s back panel features a dual-camera setup, along with a rectangle module with curved edges.

Storage

The device builds on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and features 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone comes in two memory variants including 4GB and 8GB and runs on Android 14.

Battery

The Infinix Hot 50 5G features a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The device supports a Type C charging port along an AI charge protection that helps the smartphone to track the charging pattern to maintain the battery's health.

Camera

The smartphone flaunts a 48-megapixel dual-rear camera, which features over 12 camera modes. However, there is an 8-megapixel front camera for video chats and selfies. Notably, the LED flash is present for both the front and back cameras.

Infinix Hot 50 5G pricing and availability

The Infinix Hot 50 5G comes in four colour variants Sleek Black, Vibrant Blue, Sage Green, and Dreamy Purple with a starting price of INR 9,999. The 4GB variant is available for INR 9,999 while the 8GB variant costs INR 10,999. However, the sale will go live on Flipkart on September 9.
