Infinix officially released Smart 9 HD in India on Tuesday, introducing the first phone in the company’s latest Smart 9 series. It arrives as a successor to the Smart 8 HD, which was launched in December 2023.
The phone supports a comprehensive suite of compelling features, including an enlarged 6.7-inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, dual stereo speakers, and more.

The recently launched smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G50 chipset with a 2.2Ghz peak clock speed paired with 6GB of RAM (3GB physical+3GB virtual) and 64GB of onboard storage, ensuring smoother multitasking and better app performance, even under heavy usage.
The latter is expandable up to 1TB through a microSD card and the phone efficiently runs on Android 14 Go edition.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Infinix Smart 9 HD features a 13MP dual rear camera unit featuring a quad LED and zoom flash. On the front, it offers an 8MP selfie camera, making it an appealing choice for photography enthusiasts.
Moreover, Infinix Smart 9 HD houses a 5,000mAh battery, which offers up to 14.5 hours of video playback and up to 8.6 hours of gaming.
The company has integrated a cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) charge protection feature that is said to keep your device protected from overcharging and improve the technology, which is designed to prevent overcharging and extend the overall battery lifespan.
For connectivity, the Infinix Smart 9 HD supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Infinix Smart 9 HD is available for INR 6,699, making it an affordable option for budget-conscious buyers. Users can purchase the phone on Flipkart starting February 4.
