As the tech giant Apple has been reportedly working on an addition to its iPhone SE series, a series of rumours has recently surfaced, corroborating to the earlier reports of an under-development iPhone SE 4. 

Acquired and reported by 9to5Mac, the new CAD renders provide us an inciting glimpse of the design and visual appeal of the iPhone SE 4, hinting at an external design that bears immense resemblance with the company's iPhone 14.

The leaked renders of the reportedly impending iPhone SE 4 indicate that the device will come out with enhancements in a variety of areas, such as featuring a 6.1 inches display, bigger than the preceding model.

Latest iPhone SE design and dimensions

The handset is also expected to bring a notch placed atop the screen, accommodating new Face ID sensors. Meanwhile, the rear end of the iPhone SE 4 might feature a camera cutout with accompanied by a flash sensor.

The latest iPhone SE model is anticipated to be 147.7 x 71.5 x 7.7mm in dimensions, however, the current model of the iPhone SE series has the 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm dimensions.

A different spate of renders, tipped earlier, also suggested that the iPhone SE 4 will have replaced the Lightning cable with a USB-C, whereas another rumours hinted at the appearance of an Action Button on the iPhone SE 4, something which is exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro.

The last, and so far top-of-the-line model of the iPhone SE series, was launched in 2022 with a 4.7-inch display while featuring a Home button, as we witnessed in the iPhone 8. Listed on an affordable price tag of $429, it is powered by the A15 Bionic Chip, while replacing the Touch ID feature with a Face ID, ensuring that the user's device enjoys utmost security.

Note that the above mentioned insights are based on rumoured renders, and there's no official word on exact design or the release timeline of the upcoming iPhone SE iteration. Nevertheless, the handset is currently expected to release not before 2025.
