Itel unveiled the Itel P55 and Itel P55+ in India on Thursday (February 8), introducing them as the latest budget-friendly offerings from the Chinese smartphone brand. These new handsets feature an iPhone-like Dynamic Bar, enabling quick access to notification and face unlock features.
Both the Itel P55 and Itel P55+ are powered by the Unisoc T606 SoC with storage options of up to 256GB. Similar to recent Itel smartphones, the Itel P55 series supports Memory Fusion technology, allowing expansion of onboard memory using unused storage space. Both phones are backed by 5,000mAh battery units, with the Itel P55+ offering support for 45W fast charging.

The Itel P55 and Itel P55+ run on Android 13 and feature a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. They are powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC and support Memory Fusion technology for virtual RAM expansion. The Itel P55+ comes with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, while the Itel P55 is available in 12GB and 24GB RAM options with 128GB storage as standard.
Both models feature an AI-backed 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The Itel P55+ offers face unlock and a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G, audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.

The phones are equipped with 5,000mAh battery units, with the Itel P55 supporting 18W fast charging and the Itel P55+ supporting 45W fast charging, claiming to charge up to 70% in 30 minutes. Additionally, the Plus variant offers three charging modes hypercharge, low-temperature charging, and AI-based smart charging.
Itel P55, Itel P55+ price
The Itel P55 is priced at INR 7,999 for the 12GB RAM (including virtual RAM) + 128GB storage variant, available in Aurora Blue, Moonlit Black, and Brilliant Gold colour options. Meanwhile, the Itel P55+ is priced at INR 9,499 for the 16GB RAM (including virtual RAM) + 256GB storage variant, offered in Meteor Black and Royal Green colours.
The Royal Green variant of the Plus model also features a Vegan Leather finish. These prices include bank discounts, and both handsets will be available for sale on Amazon starting February 13 at midnight IST.
