In a significant move to enhance Pakistan’s digital infrastructure, Jazz, the leading digital operator in the country, has partnered with Engro Connect, a subsidiary of Engro Corporation. This collaboration aims to optimise the management and utilisation of telecommunications infrastructure across Pakistan.

Under the terms of this agreement, Jazz’s infrastructure assets, managed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Deodar (Private) Limited (Deodar), will be integrated with Engro Connect through a structured scheme of arrangement. This integration complies with all applicable legal requirements and regulatory procedures.

Jazz will continue to lease Deodar’s extensive infrastructure portfolio, offering seamless nationwide mobile voice and data services, as outlined in a long-term agreement designed to uphold service quality and accessibility for millions of users.

Pioneering Digital ServiceCo model

This partnership marks a significant milestone in revolutionising Jazzs into a Digital ServiceCo, a cutting-edge framework tailored to empower Pakistan’s digital transformation.
