In a recent move, Microsoft has just announced to integrate Nvidia's GeForce Now service into its Xbox game store pages. This means that when you view a game listing on the web, you would be seeing a new option to choose between Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now to play the game.

The GeForce Now, however, is a cloud gaming service whereby users can play games on several devices without dedicated hardware.

One may be surprised: the RTX 4080 tier seems a little amazing, as Nvidia it described, to provide better performance than an Xbox Series X running locally on a 60Hz TV.

Currently, Microsoft only lists its own Xbox Cloud Gaming on listings, so this move marks an enormous partnership between both of the companies. While the new "play with cloud" button isn't available yet but is expected to be launched soon.

It isn't the first time that Microsoft and Nvidia have collaborated on cloud gaming. The two firms struck a 10-year deal last year, which would enable Nvidia to license Xbox PC games for GeForce Now, including Activision Blizzard titles.

Additionally, GeForce Now allows you to log in with your Xbox account and sync Microsoft Store purchases; it even streams Xbox PC games through PC Game Pass.

It means that gamers will be able to play their favourite Xbox games with even more choices, without dedicated hardware.

Gamers will be able to choose between what works best for them, based on how well GeForce Now is running and how easy Xbox Cloud Gaming is to use.
