The Surface Pro tablet boasts the ability to produce perfect blacks and other benefits such as improved contrast ratio, response time, and HDR output. Whereas previous Surface Pros and the business edition Surface Pro 10 had impressive LCDs for colour accuracy and sharpness.

With the shift to OLED, the Surface Pro can now display movies and photos with more vibrant colours and deeper blacks thanks to per-pixel control.

The Redmond-based tech giant also lifted the veil off the consumer version of the Microsoft Surface Laptop 6 which was first disclosed on March 21 earlier this year. It resembles its predecessors but features a new Copilot key on the keyboard.

Available in 13.5-inch and 15-inch touchscreens with 201 PPI, it is rumoured to include the mid-tier Snapdragon X Elite chipset for non-business models. Pricing details are highly anticipated, with enterprise editions starting at $1199 and the top-tier 15-inch model priced at $2999. The final cost of the consumer version remains to be seen.
