NASTP Pakistan has collaborated with Khazana Cloud to deploy the first hyper-scale cloud solution that will come with a Tier 3 data centre based on Huawei technology in Pakistan.

The development comes as a facility that promises to revolutionise cloud computing in Pakistan, offering the most advanced locally compliant cloud and AI solutions to the government and private clients.

This pioneering NASTP cloud solution opens access to a full suite of services that include computing, storage, virtual machines (VMs), and backup.

NASTP and Khanzana Cloud partnership

Offering Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) options, this cloud platform enables organisations to enhance operations with scalable, cost-effective services.

Many advantages are derived by the government entities from NASTP cloud solutions. For one, they avoid long and tiring times of bidding with the former that works directly with NASTP. Thus, project deployment becomes faster and cheaper.

The cloud centre would also bring economic growth to the table since the capital would be retained in the country, as a result, reducing the $300 -$500 million spent annually on foreign cloud services.

Local companies, especially those within NASTP zones, receive discounted access to these services, making high-quality tech solutions more affordable.

Moreover, data security is a top priority in this partnership, aligned with Pakistan’s Cloud First Policy of 2022. All sensitive information remains within Pakistan’s borders, ensuring compliance with national data sovereignty standards.

Local providers also mean ultra-low latency and payments in Pakistani Rupees, offering added convenience and performance.
