Meta's latest social media platform Threads has introduced new gesture-based controls for its app, allowing users to quickly like or hide a post. To like a post, users need to swipe right, and swipe left to hide it.

However, it's important to note that these new gestures only work in the For You tab. It's uncertain whether gestures will be incorporated into other sections of the app in the future.

These features were already accessible to select users, but Meta has now made them available worldwide. The company says that these new features help users "better connect with friends" and provide them with more control over the messaging experience.

Other upcoming features of Instagram
