
Nintendo's latest Direct showcase announced slew of several new games and updates for the Switch console, offering the PC gamers the long-awaited remasters and remakes of JRPGs including a new Legend of Zelda game, Metroid Prime 4, and many more adventurous announcements.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
In a surprise announcement, Nintendo revealed the new Zelda game where Princess Zelda has taken the centre stage. In "The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom," Link has gone missing and Zelda have to save her kingdom using a tri-rod to create some items and solve puzzles.
The game's style is reminiscent of the "Link's Awakening" remake, whereas the battle mechanics in the game will be different from other Zelda games. A special Hyrule edition of Nintendo Switch Lite is also expected to be released alongside the game on September 26.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership
The Mario brothers are back in another upcoming RPG adventure, "Mario & Luigi: Brothership." This sea-faring game is first new entry in the Mario & Luigi series in nine years almost and will be released on November 7.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is an upcoming first person action-adventure game in which Samus is back with a new mission. This action-packed game will be coming to the Switch in 2025.
Funko Fusion
In Funko Fusion, you can play as over 60 characters from classic movies and shows, exploring locations, puzzles, and hidden areas. The game will be released on September 13.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D
The remake of classic RPG, "Dragon Quest III HD-2D" will expand on the original game, allowing you to explore towns, dungeons, and more with some adventurous gameplay. The game will be released on November 14.
Nintendo's Direct showcase had plenty of exciting announcements, and with the Switch likely approaching its final months, it's clear that the company is going out with a bang. Whether you're a fan of Zelda, Mario, or Metroid, there's something for everyone coming to the Switch.
