Nothing, the British consumer electronics manufacturer, is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated smartphone, Nothing Phone 3a, on March 4.
As fans eagerly await the launch, British original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has shared a teaser that hints at a new button on the upcoming Nothing Phone 3a.

The button, located beneath the power button, is speculated to be a quick shutter that activates the camera, similar to the Camera Control button on the iPhone 16 series.
A teaser shared on X (formerly Twitter) provided a glimpse of the Nothing Phone 3a’s side profile, showcasing the new button.
While Nothing has yet to reveal more about its latest phone, leaks circulating on the internet suggested that a single press of the button could activate the camera, while pressing it again would capture a photo.
However, a report suggested that the button could serve other purposes, such as an alert slider, similar to those found on OnePlus devices, or a multi-purpose toggle.
Another report speculated that the button might assist in switching the Nothing Phone 3a's voice assistant, given the company's focus on artificial intelligence (AI) this year.
The company is expected to reveal more information about this new button's purpose in the days leading up to the launch of the Nothing Phone 3a series.
