OpenAI has been reported unfunctional, as a few users reported disruption while using the platform on Downdetector, an outage tracking service.

Citing figures from Downdetector, it reported that around 78% of users experienced disruption while using ChatGPT, 78% of users reported complaints while doing login and the remaining 4% of users were unable to access the website.

Moreover, several users said that their phones are not working and their internet is down after a “nationwide outage.” Multiple services are down today (September 30), and this might be an impact of Hurricane Helene as server outages were reported for mobile operators, power companies, and more.

Where ChatGPT, other apps, and several mobile services are down in the USA, the internet is also flooded with error reports from Spotify. Almost 54% of users reported complaints while accessing the app, 26% of users experienced disruption while using the website, and the other 20% of users reported issues while Audio streaming.

The outage has not been addressed by top officials of apps. However, users are still waiting for the issue to get resolved.
