OpenAI’s ChatGPT, the powerful AI chatbot, just got a handy upgrade that solves a problem many users faced, losing track of their AI-generated images.

With the growing use of AI image generation for content creation, storytelling, and design, users needed a simpler way to manage the visuals they made using ChatGPT’s 4o model.

ChatGPT's image library

This latest update provides users with a single location to access all their generated images, previously buried deep within chat threads.

Previously, unless you saved or downloaded them immediately, you'd tend to lose them.

However, with the image library, all your visuals are stored and displayed in sequence. This simplifies handling your AI-generated art and makes it quicker.

How to use ChatGPT's image library?

Here's how you can locate and utilise the image library:

  1. Open ChatGPT and ensure you're on the GPT-4o model.
  2. In the top-left menu (≡), click and check for the new "Library" tab.
  3. When inside, tap on the "Images" section.
  4. You will now view all the images you've created in one tidy, scrollable list.
  5. From there, you can download, return to, or reuse your visuals at any time.

This capability is particularly beneficial for bloggers, journalists, designers, and social media administrators who need to depend on AI picture creation in order to produce fast graphics.
