As the competition among tech giants worldwide is getting fierce with each passing day, OpenAI reportedly has a plan up its sleeves to outpace Google with its own web browser.

Advancing its recent development of SearchGPT, the artificial intelligence (AI) titan aims to integrate its ChatGPT into the said web browser to deliver an automated and intelligent user experience.

Citing sources, ProPakistani reported that the ChatGPT maker is working in alliance with app and website developers like Eventbrite, Redfin, Priceline, and Conde Nast, demonstrating the reported browser's prototypes aimed at improving search capabilities.

With the project progressing under the leadership of Sam Altman, the company seems to be exploring the realm of web browsers to stand tall against Google owning the world's most-used web browser.

OpenAI's venture to develop an AI-powered web browser is likely driven by Google reeling with regulatory issues including DOJ forcing to split Chrome from Google's portfolio
