The Oppo Find N5 foldable handset is set to launch in China in the third week of February. It has been teased as the world's "thinnest foldable phone" and is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, coinciding with the release of the Oppo Watch X2, making it a significant release for the brand.

Taking to Weibo, Oppo posted that the upcoming Oppo Find N5 is set to debut "in two weeks” in China, indicating a launch in the third week of February. Users are anticipating the exact launch date to be announced, which is expected to be revealed soon.

When folded, the Oppo Find N5 is likely to have a thickness of 9.2mm. A recent teaser suggested that the upcoming device will be slimmer as compared to an iPad Pro M4 which measures 5.1 mm in thickness. When unfolded, the expected Oppo foldable is likely to measure only 4mm thick, making it one of the slimmest foldable devices ever.

The forthcoming handset is confirmed to be offered in a white colour option. In addition, it is said to feature the IPX9 rating for water resistance, making it highly resistant to water exposure. The device is also expected to support 50W wireless charging, allowing for fast and convenient power-ups.

In addition, the Oppo Find N5 is expected to feature an enlarged 6.85-inch LTPO display with a resolution of 2K. Under the hood, the device will be equipped with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, delivering a powerful performance.

In terms of battery capabilities, the upcoming phone is likely to house a 6,000mAh battery with at least 80W wired fast charging support. The handset is expected to support satellite connectivity and more.
