OnePlus has officially released the stable OxygenOS 16 update, based on Android 16, for the OnePlus 12 users in the market to provide a new experience with advanced features.

According to the company, OxygenOS 16 stable update brings new features, such as 'Parallel Processing', in which system apps will display animations that begin and end at intuitive places, making interactions feel smoother.

Moreover, it should be noted that the OS update is currently available to OnePlus users in India, further expanding plans to other regions — including Pakistan — in the near future.

What's new in OxygenOS 16 stable update?

OxygenOS 16 update adds 'Mind Space', which uses AI to suggest content for a better usage experience.

"Photo albums are now easier to navigate with clearer categories and personalised sorting for frequently used ones," said OnePlus, adding that checking image info is simple, as you just need to swipe up for details and where it's stored.

The company features a suite of new editing tools like splitting, merging, adjusting playback speed, transitions, and adding background music. "Produce high-quality videos directly from your edits with ease."

If you're a OnePlus user and have not received the update yet, do not worry, as the OxygenOS 16 update is a phased rollout, and it may take a little time before it reaches every device.
