Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is launching a new weekly international flight between Karachi and Riyadh starting January 2, 2026, expanding its growing network in Saudi Arabia. The national carrier already operates flights to Riyadh from Islamabad and Lahore.

As per the schedule, Flight PK729 will leave Karachi every Friday at 8:45pm via an Airbus A320 and reach Riyadh at 10:45pm after a four-hour flight.

The return flight PK730 will leave Riyadh early Saturday at 12:05am to reach Karachi at 5:10am, hence completing the journey in a little over three hours.

According to PIA officials, the new route is being introduced to facilitate business travellers, expatriate workers, and families who regularly commute between Karachi and the Saudi capital.

This is part of their efforts to continually expand international operations while pursuing broader initiatives to enhance connectivity and rebuild customer confidence in the airline.

The launch of this weekly link is another step towards PIA’s effort in reviving its global presence while offering more convenient travel options to passengers in Pakistan and the Gulf.
