The Poco F8 series launch unfolded just as expected, with only two models introduced, both rebranded versions of the Redmi K90 lineup.
Gadinsider has got you a complete look at the newly announced Poco F8 Ultra.
The device is a rebadged Redmi K90 Pro Max and retains almost all of its specifications. The only major change is in the battery: Poco has given the F8 Ultra a 6,500mAh cell combined with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Poco F8 Ultra specification
Poco F8 Ultra runs on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with a peak clock speed of 4.6GHz, making it one of the fastest Android chipsets out there. The phone comes with 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and a Tri-50MP camera system.
On the front, there is a large 6.9-inch 1.5K OLED display (1200 × 2608p) with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. The screen is protected by the Poco Shield Glass, and the device carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The camera island at the back houses three functional lenses with a dummy module in place to keep things symmetrical. Then, there's a Bose-branded subwoofer that helps complete the three-speaker audio system, promising a sort of 2.1-style surround sound experience.
