Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has partnered with Gulf Business Machines (GBM) Pakistan and International Business Machines (IBM) to streamline the IT infrastructure. This partnership aims to strengthen PTCL’s operational efficiency and develop a foundation for advanced innovations in Enterprise Systems.
This significant move is to deploy IBM Power10 servers across PTCL’s production, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments. These advanced servers, featuring mega processing power and resilient security measures, aim to improve PTCL’s performance, allowing it to meet increasing data demands.
Furthermore, PTCL is set to incorporate the IBM Spectrum Scale for streamlined data management processes to achieve innovative goals.
