
Realme 12+ 5G is set to make its debut in India on March 6, following its launch in Malaysia on February 29. The company has teased the phone in both markets, revealing some key details about its design and camera capabilities.
Before the official unveiling, several specifications of the upcoming handset have been leaked online. Realme India has now confirmed key details about the chipset, display, and colour options for the Realme 12+ 5G.
Realme India has revealed some key details about the Indian variant of the Realme 12+ 5G ahead of its launch through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter). The phone is set to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC.
Additionally, it will feature a 120Hz AMOLED display with rainwater smart touch technology, allowing users to operate the phone even with damp hands. The technology is used to differentiate between the pattern of water and finger touches.
Furthermore, Realme has also unveiled the colour options for the Realme 12+ 5G in India. The company teased the phone in beige and green colours with faux leather finishes, similar to the design of the Realme 12 Pro 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G models, which were launched earlier this year in India. The upcoming Realme 12+ 5G also sports a large circular luxury-watch-inspired rear camera module positioned at the centre.

According to Gadgets360, the Realme 12+ 5G is rumoured to boast a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Additionally, it is confirmed to feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 OIS-supported primary sensor.
The Realme 12+ 5G is expected to feature a 16-megapixel front camera. The phone is likely to offer a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It is also anticipated to run on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 and house a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support.
