realme, one of the most popular smartphone company, has recently announced its realme 12 series in Pakistan, and it's generating a lot of buzz in the tech industry. It’s been two year since the tech ginat has launched its last series bringing with itself advanced features at new prices to be ahead of market competition.
The realme 12 and realme 12+ 5G are the latest additions to the Number series, which has gained global recognition for its premium quality.
It has just announced that the cricketer Shaheen Afridi would be its Brand Ambassador, encapsulating a high-performance of the new realme's new 12 series, powered by advanced technology. This partnership gave realme another boost to enhance its image in the Pakistani market.
Specifications of realme 12 and realme 12+ 5G
The realme 12+ 5G is the star of the show and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G chipset, which delivers robust performance while maintaining ultra-low power consumption. It scored more than 580,000 in the AnTuTu Benchmark, hence enabling new standards to be set in this price band and turning it into a strong competitor in the 5G smartphone market.
Inspired by French watchmaker Ollivier Savéo, the realme 12+ 5G smartwatch is delicately yet designed with a premium vegan leather and PVD polished edges. It is ultra-light and slim, thus easy to carry. On the other hand, the realme 12 comes with a Snapdragon 685 chipset that offers a universal performance boost.

Both variants are equipped with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera, featuring OIS—ideals for capturing sharp images at any distance. The 6.67-inch AMOLED display comes with an FHD+ resolution, supporting life-like colors for smooth visuals when gaming or streaming videos. Refresh rate is offered in 120Hz, while there are 4096 levels of brightness adjustment, thus never letting the visual experience fall off the line.
Using the 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging, the realme 12 and realme 12+ 5G could be charged to 50% in just 19 minutes and back to 100% in just 48 minutes.
Release date and pricing
realme 12 and realme 12+ 5G, both of smartphones offer several innovative features and are integrated with advanced technology. This device will be launched at a price of PKR 59,999, while its 5G variant, realme 12+, will cost PKR 74,999. Both devices will go on sale starting July 1, 2024.
