Realme 12 5G and Realme 12+ 5G have surfaced online, hinting at their imminent launch, just ahead of the Realme 12 Pro series launch in India. Both smartphones have been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, bearing model numbers RMX3868 and RMX38667, respectively.
While the listings on the BIS website, dated January 24, do not disclose specific specifications, they strongly suggest that both Realme models are expected to observe a grand entrance in the Indian market soon.
The Realme 12 Pro models were also previously identified on the BIS website in mid-December before their upcoming launch on January 29.

Additionally, the Realme 12+ 5G has been identified on China's MIIT certification website with a slightly different model number RMX38666, where five images of the handset in a blue colourway have been revealed.
Realme 12 design
The images showcase a quad rear camera setup along with an LED flash, and a distinct long metal strip running vertically through the phone's rear. The Realme branding is positioned at the bottom left of the rear panel, according to Gadgets360.
The front and its left and right edges are also shown in the images, featuring a flat-edged design and rounded corners. On the right edge, the volume and power buttons are visible. Although details of the selfie camera cutout remain unclear from the images, the overall design suggests a sleek and modern appearance.
Realme 12 launch schedule
While Realme has not officially announced the launch of Realme 12 5G and Realme 12+ 5G in India and other markets, the recent certifications and leaks hint at an imminent debut. Meanwhile, the company is gearing up for the launch of the Realme 12 Pro series in India on January 29.
