
After hints swirling for several months, Red Dead Redemption's existence on PC has been officially confirmed for the first time.
Red Dead Redemption coming to PC
Taking to YouTube, Rockstar Games, the developer of Red Dead Redemption revealed, "For the first time in its storied legacy, John Marston's beloved journey can be experienced on PC in stunning, new detail, with both Red Dead Redemption and its iconic zombie-horror companion story, Undead Nightmare, arriving to PC on October 29.”
For the game’s PC version, Rockstar Games is reportedly collaborating with “Double Eleven” the British studio behind the PS4 and Switch ports of Red Dead Redemption.

The PC version will also include specific enhancements, such as native 4K resolution, ultrawide, super-ultrawide support, monitor support, HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality. It will also include NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling support.
Reportedly, Red Dead Redemption is arriving on PC after 14 years of its launch on PS3 and Xbox 360 and one year after it was ported to PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Notably, this game’s sequel, Read Dead Redemption 2 is already available on PC.
Additionally, Rockstar Games also unveiled a trailer for Red Dead Redemption on PC. However, the company is likely to share the preorder-related details of the PC version of game shortly.
