Redmi, a subsidiary brand owned by Xiaomi, recently released its new smartphone — Redmi A3x in India. Previously, Redmi A3x was only released in Pakistan in May and was a lineup on the company’s global site in June.
The Indian version of the Redmi A3x is relatable to its global counterparts. It has a circular camera deco design and a transparent mirror sheen glass rear panel.
Price of Redmi A3x in India
The Redmi A3x is available in India at INR 6,999 for the 3GB RAM with 64GB storage option, while the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage variant is available at INR 7,999. The phone is available in the country through Amazon and the Xiaomi India website.

The Redmi A3x features a 6.71-inch HD+ (720 x 1,650 pixels) LCD Dot Drop screen with up to 90Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness level, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Chipset
The smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T603 chipset paired with up to 4GB of LPDDR4X which can be extended virtually to 8GB. The phone also supports up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage which is expandable to up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Version
The Redmi A3x version runs on Android 14-based HyperOS and is claimed to receive two major Android upgrades and three years of security updates.

Camera
The Redmi A3x supports a dual rear camera setup, with an 8MP primary sensor, while there's a 5MP sensor at the front.
Battery and connectivity option
The Redmi A3x boasts a 5,000mAh battery supporting 10W wired charging through a USB Type-C port. The smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS connectivity alongside a 3.5mm audio jack. For security, it carries a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports the artificial intelligence (AI) face unlock feature.
Weight and colour options
The Redmi A3x measures 168.4 x 76.3 x 8.3mm in size. It is available in four colourways including Midnight Black, Ocean Green, Olive Green, and Starry White.
