The Redmi K90 Pro has been under speculation following the successful release of the Redmi K80 Pro. Several rumours have surfaced, creating a buzz about the upcoming flagship model. Early leaks suggested the handset is likely to start making waves online, offering an early glimpse of its potential features such as Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, 50MP camera, and more. 

Here’s a breakdown of the expected specifications for the rumoured smartphone.

Redmi K90 Pro specifications (expected)

According to a credible analyst, Digital Chat Station, the next-generation ‘Pro’ model of the Redmi lineup is rumoured to boast a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with an enlarged aperture, enhancing its low-light performance and zoom capabilities. 

Additionally, the device is expected to feature a 2K resolution display, providing sharp visuals and immersive viewing experiences.

The Redmi K90 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which is anticipated to launch in the second quarter of 2025.

Redmi K80 Pro specifications

In reference, the Remi K80 Pro was released back on November 5, 2024, with several innovative features including an enlarged  6.67-inch (1,440 x 3,200 pixels) AMOLED display with a 2K resolution featuring up to 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. 

The device offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage paired with a massive 6,000mAh battery.

The triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 32MP ultra-wide sensor, while a 20MP front camera caters to selfie enthusiasts.

With such specifications, the Redmi K80 Pro has already set high expectations for its successor.
