Redmi Turbo 3 rumoured to flaunt 200MP rear camera

Redmi has confirmed the Chinese launch of its Redmi Turbo 3 — the first variant of the company's new smartphone lineup: Redmi Turbo — with validations coming from leaked images massively disseminated on the internet.

Courtesy of Fixed Focus Digital (translated from Chinese), who, as reported by Gadgets360, disclosed a hands-on images of the purported Redmi Turbo 3 on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website) alongside two renders of the smartphone's back panel. 

Although the company has not even hinted at the features of its upcoming flagshup smartphone, the rumoured images suggest that it will boast a triple rear camera setup.

The way in which the device was being held by the tipster, it indicates that two cameras would be featured on the left side of the rear panel, with a third camera in the middle. The right side of the panel appears to include a circular LED flash and the Redmi logo in small characters.

Citing a source, gadgets360 reported that the rear camera setup will house a 200MP main camera lens, with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The phone will also claim to feature an unidentified secondary camera and a macro camera in the middle.

However, the tipster posted two images of the rumoured Redmi Turbo 3 in white and black, displaying the identical design as the phone was featured in the hands. Moreover, it also indicates that the phone's back panel rolls to the right and left sides, and the volume and power buttons can be spotted on the left side.

Redmi General Manager Thomas Wang stated that the upcoming Redmi handset will be powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Redmi Turbo 3 will sport a display of 6.78-inch OLED screen with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate to ensure an unbothered viewing experience. The smartphone draws its power from a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. This phone might eventually be released outside of China as the Poco F6.
