As the countdown to the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 ticks away, Samsung is poised to introduce a duo of eagerly anticipated smartphones: the Galaxy A35 and the Samsung Galaxy A55.

Recent leaks have already spilt the beans on their specifications, leaving little to the imagination for the official unveiling.

The Galaxy A35 recently made its appearance on the Google Play Console, while the support page for the Galaxy A55 went live on Samsung Portugal's official website over the weekend, according to reports from SamMobile. While the support page didn't reveal any groundbreaking details, enthusiasts are already well-acquainted with what the Galaxy A55 is expected to bring to the table.

Rumours suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A55 will be equipped with the all-new Exynos 1480 processor and will boast an Infinity-O display. The recent listing on Samsung Portugal's website hints at two storage variants for the device — 128GB and 256GB.

In terms of display, the Samsung Galaxy A55 is anticipated to sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising a visually immersive experience. A hefty 5,000 mAh battery is rumoured to power the device, ensuring prolonged usage between charges. Moreover, there's speculation that the Galaxy A55 might come with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

On the software front, consumers can expect the device to run on Android 14 straight out of the box. While pricing details are yet to be officially confirmed, industry insiders speculate that the Samsung Galaxy A55 could be priced around $450 (~PKR 125,500), aligning with the pricing strategy observed for the Galaxy A54 last year.

With the official unveiling drawing closer, consumers eagerly await the arrival of this mid-range smartphone, poised to deliver a blend of robust specifications and a reasonable price point.
