After teasing the Galaxy F06 5G for the past few days in India, Samsung has confirmed the launch date of its new Galaxy F-series smartphone.
This entry-level smartphone will be released as a successor to the Galaxy F05 launched in September 2024.
Galaxy F06 5G launch date
According to the tech giant, the Galaxy F06 5G will be available in India starting February 12 (Wednesday).
However, Samsung’s upcoming handset’s specifications and pricing details have been unveiled by Samsung from a dedicated Flipkart microsite ahead of the launch. The Galaxy F06 5G will be available in Bahama Blue and Lit Violet colourways.

The Galaxy F06 5G is expected to boast a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen with up to 800nits peak brightness and a waterdrop-style display cutout for the selfie camera.
Powered by a robust Dimensity 6300 chipset, the Galaxy F06 5G will be backed by up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The Galaxy F06 5G will have a 5,000mAh battery and 25W wired charging support. The device will receive four years of Android OS upgrades and security updates.

The company also revealed that the Galaxy F06 5G will sport a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it will feature an 8MP front camera and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

The Galaxy F06 5G is expected to be priced between INR 9,000 and INR 9,999. The handset will be available starting 12pm IST and will go on sale via Flipkart and the company's retail stores.
