Gone are the days when one particular model of a smartphone brand could single-handedly outdo the rest of the lineup straight for years, and this remained the case for every major brand like Samsung, Google and more.

However, now is the time when only a few days down the road, the most formidable contender in the market gets dethroned by rival parties or even its own counterpart. The latter seems the case of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra which is rumoured to be surpassed by the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Galaxy S24 Ultra, the current highest-end variant of Samsung's S series, globally gathered unmatched acclaim for being more both a smartphone and an AI companion, but the supremacy is about to be shattered soon.

While earlier leaks that circulated the nook and corners of the internet hinted at nothing so startling, courtesy to Ice Universe, a renowned and credible leaker, Android Police reported that Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra with a huge hardware upgrade.

16GB RAM on Galaxy S25 Ultra

Citing the tipster, the publication stated that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will surely feature a Galaxy S25 Ultra model with at least 16GB of RAM on it.

If the rumour has anything to go by, then this would mark a notable leap for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, proving a device with 4GB more RAM than its predecessor, accommodating memory that facilitates greater multitasking.

Making this feat remarkable is the fact that the Galaxy S24 Ultra bests out at 12GB for the top-notch model. Surprisingly, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Z Flip 6, Samsung's latest additions to the Z Fold family, also max out at 12GB.
