Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is likely to debut in the coming months, as the claimed successor to last year's Galaxy Z Fold 6 model is currently subject to speculation.
This year, the South Korean-based tech giant is reportedly preparing to launch a book-style foldable with a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, featuring an upgraded outer camera.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 design (expected)
A credible analyst, Steve H. Hemmerstoffer (@onleaks), partnered with Android Headlines to leak several computer-aided design (CAD) leaks of the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is likely to debut in July in a single black colour option.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to measure 158.4×143.1×4.5mm when unfolded, which implies a 1.1mm reduction in thickness and an 11mm wider outer screen, in contrast to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The phone is seen with three outer cameras, equipped with a raised camera island similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Further reports suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will house a similar Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip which debuted in January with the flagship Galaxy S25 series.
For optics, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 is likely to feature a 200MP outer camera, up from the 50MP main camera on its predecessor. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto camera on the purported handset.
In addition, it is likely to support a 10MP front camera on the cover screen and feature a 4MP under-display camera on the inner screen, offering an improved photography experience.
Under the hood, the upcoming handset is likely to support the similar 4,400mAh battery from the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 launch
If leaks regarding the previous timelines turn out to be true, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be released in India in July. Users are anticipating more details about the device to surface online in the coming weeks and months.
