Galaxy owners, other than those without the Galaxy S25 and similar top-notch models, were perhaps feeling left out as Samsung's latest One UI 8 was exclusively released for the latest Galaxy phones at the time of its debut. But now the South Korean tech giant is rolling out the new Android 16-based One UI 8 update to four additional smartphones: the Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy M36, and Galaxy F36.
Out of the four devices, the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 will receive the stable One UI 8 update, packed with firmware versions F936BXXUAIYIF and F721BXXUAIYIF, respectively.
One UI 8 comes with the October 2025 Android security patch and takes up over 3GB of storage. It is currently available in regions across Asia, Africa, and Europe.
Apart from that, the Galaxy M36 and Galaxy F36 have begun receiving their stable One UI 8 updates. These updates include the September 2025 security patch and need around 2.3GB of device storage. The firmware versions for these models are M366BXXUZBYI3 and E366BXXU2BYI4, respectively.
Samsung's back-to-back release of One UI 8 to more devices indicates its willingness to provide timely Android 16 updates across its entire flagship smartphone lineups.
With the new update for Galaxy devices on its way, users can expect improved performance, smoother animations, and enhanced security features after complete installation of the update.
